We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Consultant for Internal Audit and SOX Compliance to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview: Consultant for Internal Audit and SOX Compliance will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support to our clients in the areas of internal audit and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance. This role involves assessing and improving internal controls, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and offering strategic advice to enhance operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a thorough understanding of auditing principles and SOX requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Internal Audit:

·  Plan, execute, and manage internal audit engagements to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance with policies and procedures.

·  Develop audit programs and testing procedures relevant to risk and test objectives.

·  Identify and assess areas of significant business risk.

·  Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements.

·  Prepare comprehensive audit reports with findings, recommendations, and management responses.

·  Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and corrective actions.

2. SOX Compliance:

·  Assist clients in developing and maintaining SOX compliance programs.

·  Conduct risk assessments and identify key controls for SOX compliance.

·  Perform testing of internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR) to ensure compliance with SOX requirements.

·  Document and evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of key controls.

·  Identify control deficiencies and provide recommendations for remediation.

·  Coordinate with external auditors and facilitate their testing of SOX controls.

3. Risk Management and Advisory:

· Provide clients with strategic advice on risk management and internal control best practices.

·  Assist clients in developing risk management frameworks and policies.

·  Conduct risk assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies.

·  Offer guidance on regulatory compliance and industry standards.

·  Develop and deliver training programs on internal controls and SOX compliance.

4. Process Improvement:

·  Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.

·  Recommend and implement best practices for internal controls and risk management.

·  Assist clients in optimizing their internal audit functions and SOX compliance processes.

·  Stay updated with the latest industry trends, regulations, and best practices.

5. Client Relationship Management:

·  Develop and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and meetings.

·  Address client inquiries and resolve any issues related to internal audit and SOX compliance.

·  Provide exceptional client service and ensure client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

·  Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. CA, CPA, CIA, or CISA certification is a plus.

·  Proven experience in internal audit and SOX compliance, preferably in a consulting or client-facing role.

·  Strong knowledge of auditing standards, internal controls, and SOX requirements.

·  Proficiency in audit software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.

·  Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

·  Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

·  Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.

·  Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.

·  High level of integrity and professionalism.
